Eric Omondi Begs in the Streets of Londod, Raises 340,000 for Struggling Kenynas.
The famous comedian Eric Omondi has raised a total of Kshs. 340,000 through begging on the streets in United Kingdom.
In a video he posted on his Instagram wall, Omondi is seen holding a sign that reads, “Things are very bad. Please help!”, as he begs for money from passers-by. Eric had gone for a concert tour in the Uk.
Passers-by who sympathized with Eric gave him money. Money which he intends to use to buy maize meal for struggling families in Kenya and support local musicians.
"Wakiomba tunaomba...While in the UK I took sometime to Raise some money in the Streets of London to come and support fellow Kenyans juu sasa nikubaya.
"I managed to Raise Ksh 340,000 which I will use to buy Unga for a few Kenyans and Laptops for upcoming Content Creators. (Alafu sasa kuna huyo Mzungu racist🤦♂️🤦♂️)," he wrote.
Eric’s move has been recognized and praised several Kenyans, who crowned him a “HERO”. Some gone ahead to suggested that Omondi should run for president.
However, Eric Omondi himself has not commented yet whether he will run for President or not but echoed that his commitment is to help Kenyans in need.
Eric’s actions are a worth inspiration to many who would want to make a difference in the lives of other Kenyans. He is a true definition that there are still lots of good and caring people here in Kenya who are after goodwill of their fellows. An action which when reciprocated by many will produce a wonderful Kenya. Kudos to Him!
